How little we give credit to God for always being there even if we are not aware.
After many years of heartaches, confusion and inner battles blessed by interruptions of small victories and inner peace, I have decided to write about some of the resulting fruits that adorn my tree of life.
For this I have to thank two communities of nuns I lived with for nine years combined.
The first was a worthwhile experience which has left me with beautiful memories. The second was one I would rather forget, although I had the pleasure of meeting some incredible human beings. The mighty church was involved with its lack of compassion and bandaid solutions.
Thanks to friends who have helped me sort through the tangled mesh of hurt and disappointments.
Most importantly, my gratitude goes to the one who has put up with all my anger, and confusion regarding loss of faith and disbelief that God had abandoned me in my hour of need.
God who knows me better than I do myself. I doubt that adequate words of thanks to God will ever be written.
